The Urban Center of Las Vegas Jobs Helps Program was founded and created by Directors Franklin and Tina Davis. Their mission was to create an outlet to assist the great people of Las Vegas, Nevada and find them permanent employment through Faith. Their work started back in August of 2012 by the inspiration of Pastor Danny Daniels of the Pathway Community Church of Las Vegas. Through their great efforts, UCLV Jobs Helps Program was recognized In May of 2014, by the City of Las Vegas, obtaining a "PROCLAMATION AWARD" for their outstanding community work. The award was presented from Councilman Bob Coffin, Ms. Maria Castillo Couch (Senior City Outreach Director), and the City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. Franklin's wife, Tina Davis, is the Co-director of U.C.L.V. Jobs Help Program and manager of the administration department. Tina Davis is from the Great State of Michigan and was once crowned the Queen of Onsted Michigan in the 1979 Talent show. Tina is a former active member of her community in Michigan, formerly served on the Council Committee and as a trustee for Pathway Community Church of Las Vegas, sang in the Choir for years, and often organized most events and major neighborhood projects in the community. Together Franklin and Tina have shown their heart-felt desire to assist those in need of job placement within the city of Las Vegas. Through their faith they have assisted many people of the local community, Military Veterans, and those relocating for the first time, at a more rapid pace then most job help centers. Through their love, diligence, and faith they have given those in need a BETTER WAY of LIFE.
